Affiliated Associations and Partner Entities
The Belize Poultry Association will direct and guide the poultry industry in Belize to play a significant role in our country’s food security, nutrition and overall development by providing technical and management expertise and by forging strong partnerships with Government and non-government agencies for the provision of only the highest quality animal protein at affordable cost to consumers.
The Poultry Association of Trinidad and Tobago (PATT) was established in March 1992 as the representative organisation of Poultry Producers in Trinidad and Tobago and as the successor organisation to the earlier Trinidad Poultry Association, established in the 1960s.
With a renewed impetus towards institutional strengthening, ALA confirms its vision as a leading institution of Latin American poultry farming, which aims to generate the competitive development of the sector, serving its affiliates, in a world in constant transformation. With the constant growth of the population of the globalized world, we will continue to make our contribution to the eradication of hunger and the sustainability of resources for the benefit of all.
Distinguished by its unique standing, the School of Veterinary Medicine holds the distinction of being the sole institution within the UWI ecosystem offering this invaluable and fulfilling program. Our mission extends beyond academic excellence; we serve as a guiding light for the enhancement of both human and animal health, the safeguarding of food supplies, and the facilitation of regional trade.
