The Caribbean Poultry Association (CPA) participated in CWA 2026 through technical discussions, networking and engagements with regional Ministers, officials, development partners and industry representatives.

CPA Ministerial Luncheon

On 2 October 2026, CPA hosted a Ministerial Luncheon on the occasion of the 127th Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED–Agriculture). Attendees included Ministers, CARICOM officials, development sector representatives and CPA’s Jamaican members.
CPA Director and CEO of CB Group, Mr. Matthew Lyn, delivered a short presentation on behalf of the Association, highlighting current developments in the regional poultry industry.

Presenting and Networking at CWA 2026

CPA Executive Director, Ms. Nisa Surujbally, participated as a panellist in CAYAB’s technical session. Throughout the week, CPA representatives connected with delegates and industry stakeholders from across the region.

Our Jamaican members also played an active role: Jamaica Broilers Group supported CWA 2026 as a Gold Sponsor, while CB Group hosted the Minister and delegates at its processing facility.
